Discovering Carl Perkins: Eastview, Tennessee 1952-53

CD/Vinyl set featuring the first documented recordings of Carl Perkins storied career, captured by Stanton Littlejohn at Eastview, Tennessee as early as 1951. Full color booklet with liner notes by Shawn Pitts and Hank Davis, offers a vivid picture of the McNairy County music scene of the late 1940s and early 1950s, with special emphasis on Perkins's historic Eastview recordings.
